Community Guidelines
Last updated: 6 August 2026 · Applies to all Vtoba users
Vtoba is built for authentic local reputation — people, brands, places, and civic voice. These Guidelines explain what is allowed and what is not. Violations may lead to content removal, feature limits, or account suspension/termination under our Terms of Service.
1. Be authentic
- Use your real identity where the product expects it
- Do not impersonate people, brands, or officials
- Do not create fake accounts to manipulate rankings or reviews
2. Keep it lawful and respectful
- No harassment, hate, threats, or bullying
- No sexual exploitation, pornography, or child sexual abuse material
- No content that promotes terrorism, violent extremism, or crime
- No doxxing or sharing others' private data without authority
3. User-generated content (posts, reels, reviews)
- Only post content you have rights to share
- Reviews should reflect genuine experience — no paid deception
- Do not spam, scrape, or flood the platform
- Report abusive content using in-app tools or grievance@vtoba.com
4. Civic issues
- Report genuine local issues with accurate location context
- Do not file false or retaliatory reports
- Do not include sensitive personal data of third parties without a lawful basis
- Vtoba does not guarantee government action; treat reports as community information
5. Child safety
We have zero tolerance for sexualization or exploitation of minors. Content involving anyone under 18 in a sexual, abusive, or exploitative context is prohibited and will be removed. We may report illegal material to authorities and relevant platforms as required by law.
If you believe a child is at risk or CSAM is present, contact grievance@vtoba.com immediately with details (do not redistribute the illegal content).
6. Brands and local businesses
- Claim only pages you are authorized to manage
- Do not misuse brand tools for phishing or fraud
- Compete fairly — no review bombing or artificial popularity
7. Enforcement
We may remove content, limit features, require verification, or suspend/terminate accounts. Serious or illegal activity may be reported to law enforcement. Appeals can be sent through our Grievance Redressal process.
